What in the world is happening to music?

:Sigh: Now I don't really consider myself a music expert or whatever, but trust me. I know what's good. So what the hell is going on? I swear some of the new music I hear now is TERRIBLE!! I kept hearing about some song called Tik Tok by some chick name Ke$ha. THAT SONG IS THE WORST! I think the economy has gotten to people like really bad, I mean gotten to people who were already making money and honestly had nothing to worry about. Like I think they got so shook that they just started picking up ANYONE and slapped some autotune to them. I really wish auto tune would die. I mean it was cool when Zapp and them did it but its just too much now (T-pain have a damn SEAT). And then some people who have been out already, know they should be ashamed of some of the shit they putting out now. MARIAH CAREY that song "It's a Wrap" has got to go. That song sounds nice when you're playing it for the first time. But listen to the lyrics. Dumbest shit ever. I think she must've wrote that herself the poor thing. And then we get to Whitney Houston and how she came back after all that she's been thru and had a great welcoming and her album did so well, but yet she got NO Grammy nominations. NONE NOT A ONE. But yet Drake and Kid Cudi got them... I mean don't get me wrong at all I love Drake and Cudi...but they should get like VMAs or something. LAURYN HILL COME BACK AND SAVE THE INDUSTRY PLEASE

Semester Ovah!

So the semester is Over and Rogue Radio will be taking a break. And will be returning in the spring with a new co-host (hopefully) and maybe a name change (hopefully not) BUT i just want to share some awesomeness.

So Monday night I went to the Nokia theater and saw my baby and his band for their album release! Man did he do his thang as always! And Nikki came out and laid it down as well! I have lots of pictures but I won't put them all up, just one of my favorites. And then he was on GMA today singing 2 Luv Birds which is an awesome song.

Week 10

So, so much for the big news of last week since Kean didn't even have the live stream working! Lol it's cool tho, but even cooler news is, I asked my teacher if I can keep my show and he said I could (score) so yes ladies and gentlemen (or who all read this if you do) Rogue Radio will be back in the spring with my crazy antics. But here we go with the playlist for today's show.

Sex Therapy: Robin Thicke (had to throw that on up there cause he debuted the video for it which I will be posting)

Sad Songs: Melanie Fiona (I keep trying to tell y'all to get on this!)

Make Me: Janet Jackson (Video debuts on Good Morning America tomorrow I think)

Exhale (Shoop Shoop): Whitney Houston (A classic!)

Call You Tonight: Whitney Houston (Again its MY show and I love my girl Whitney lol)

Papers: Usher (that song is deeeep)

The Times They Are A Changing: Bob Dylan (this song...man its like a woodstock type song but it still holds merit today)

And those were the songs for today...I really will try to get you those podcasts for real, so much work to do I'm surprise I even remember ANYTHING. Also, no Rogue Radio next week because my yellow behind will not be staying on campus for Thanksgiving, thats a No No.
